Karen “Honey” Donsereaux, 48, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Marrero, La., died Sunday, August 3, at Tulane Memorial Hospital in New Orleans
She is survived by her parents, Genevieve Davison and Rev. Robert L. Davison of Marrero; one daughter, Lawanda D. Brown and husband Jason of North Carolina; three sisters, Marshellia Thompson of Thibodaux, La., Avis Stamp and Felicia Stafford of Harvey, La.; and two grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her father, Marshall Donsereaux.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, August 8, at Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church in Westwego, La., with the religious service to follow. She will be buried at Rest Lawn Cemetery in Avondale, La.
Davis Funeral Home of Gretna, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
