January 29, 2014Karen Katherine Kraemer Haddad, 62, a native of Algiers, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014.
Mrs. Haddad was a past member of the Houma Terrebonne Community Band. She was an active member of the Humane Society of Houma and the Evergreen Lions Club and a volunteer bird rehabilitator. She was a parishioner of St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Deacon Haddad; son, Geoffrey Haddad; daughter, Ginger Haddad; sister, Leah Boquet; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy and Melva Kraemer; and brother, Wayne Kraemer. (Chauvin)
