Karl Joseph Gagliano, 70, a native and longtime resident of Morgan City, La., died Wednesday, March 2, 2011.
Mr. Gagliano, a 1958 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, which was the first class to graduate from the new school, was an electrician by trade and worked where he was needed. He enjoyed his family and extended family, fishing, hunting, football and a party with music and dancing.
He is survived by his daughters, Angelia (Gerald) Legnon, Susan (Thomas) Aucoin, and Janelle and Carla (Casey Gros) Gagliano; brother, Anthony Gagliano; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Verna Aucoin Gagliano; wife, Kathleen Cormier Gagliano; son, Nick Gagliano; and great-granddaughter, Kamryn Gagliano.
He is buried at St. Andrews Cemetery. (Hargrave)
