October 6, 2011Katherine Arcement Smith, 71, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died at 6:09 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011.
Mrs. Smith was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Jill) and Clifford (Julie) Smith; brothers, Russell Jr., Richard, Warren, Bruce, Wayne and Wade Arcement; sisters, Dorothy Guidry and Marynell Vidalia; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Smith; and parents, Russell Sr. and Nellie Arcement.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Holy Savior Catholic Church with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
