November 7, 2011Katie “Kate” Jupiter, 78, a native of Gibson, La., and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Friday, Oct. 28, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Reggie Jupiter; daughter, Catherine Smith; sisters, Gracie Randle and Lillie Aldridge; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burden Jupiter; parents, William and Sarah Harding; and siblings, Mollie Harding and James, Owen, Warren, William Jr. and Robert Harding.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at St. James Baptist Church in Gibson with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Community)
