Thibodaux church finds its place after 10-year expansion

Keith J. Simmons, 50, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010.

He was a member of Restoration of Hope Outreach Ministry. He is survived by his daughters, Rosa Jones, and LaKeithsa, Kiwana and Joyce Simmons; brother, Dexter Smith; and sisters, Brenda (Pastor Freddie) Richardson, Belinda (David) Edwards, Nadine Davis, Julie (Carl) Short, Joyce (Leroy) Ray, Sandra (Charles) Williams, Cheryl (Raymond) Cleveland, Gail Johnson and Winnie Joseph.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Cleo Simmons; parents, Albert & Gertie Johnson; brothers, George Smith Jr. and Albert Johnson Jr.; sisters, Carolyn and Janell Johnson and Lucille Dock; and grandparents, Tom & Molly Johnson, Henry Simmons and Lucille Parker.

He is buried at Southdown Cemetery.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
