Downed economy, cold makes hard job tougher

Keith Michael Borel, 51, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010.
He is survived by his brothers, Lovelace Borel Jr. and Don Lapeyrouse Jr.; sisters, Darlene Still and Donna (Willie) Rodrigue; and two dogs, Tiny and Teddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lovelace Sr. and Linda Thibodaux Borel; grandparents, Theo and Beulah Smith and Sydney and Lucille Borel; and brother, Kim J. Borel.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Samart Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Rogers Cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
