Kendell “Ken” Saulsberry, 26, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Plattenville, La., died at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, Sunday, June 22.
He is survived by his fiancee’, DeShannon Dirance of Plattenville; one daughter, Kendellyn Saulsberry of Plattenville; three brothers, Wendell Jr., Shaft Carter and Quincy Carter; seven sisters, Nicole S. Williams and husband, Reginald Jr., Lakeisha S. Grimes and husband, Corey, Kamie S. Ambrose and husband, Andre, Wykena Mart, Rasheeda Mart, Jyra Dark and Kanesha Johnson; his grandparents, Alvin Saulsberry Sr. and Bernadine Carter; and numerous relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris Saulsberry and Wendell Carter; and a grandfather and grandmother.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to funeral time Friday, June 27, at Christ Holiness Temple in Houma. A religious service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with burial at Southdown Cemetery in Houma.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
