Kevin Michael “Big Iron” Emery, 46, a native of Vacherie, La. and resident of Fredley, Mn., died Thursday, May 21.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine Emery of Vacherie; his children, Candace Batiste and Jamin Jones; two sisters, Verna Jones of Vacherie and Valerie Emery of Conyers, Ga.; two brothers, Robert Emery III of St. James and Shaun Emery of Vacherie; one grandchild; and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Emery Jr.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at St. Luke Baptist Church in St. James, La. with Religious Services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
