December 4, 2010Kimberly “Kimbo” Ann Ratcliff, 43, a resident of New Iberia, La., died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010.
Kim was an exceptional individual, who loved her family, their gatherings and especially her birthday celebrations. She was a member of Special Olympics and won a gold medal in gymnastics at the state meet. She enjoyed music and dance, swimming, water-skiing, boating and days at the camp. A people person, she never forgot you once she met you. Kim was a student at The Center of Hope and Berwick Jr. High School.
She is survived by her parents, Ronnie and Sandra Ratcliff; brother, Ronnie (Monique) Ratcliff Jr.; sister Rhonda Jane (Charles) Gurinsky; grandmother, Natalia Dean; and seven nephews and nieces, Jennifer Carter, Nathan, Rachel and Sylven Gurinsky, Rustin, Reise and Rhett Ratcliff.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Randolph and Shirley Mayon Ratcliff; grandfather, Thomas Dean; one uncle, Michael Ratcliff; and one cousin, Rachel Ratcliff.
She is buried at Morgan City Cemetery.
