Lance B. Walker Jr., 74, a native of Franklin, La., and resident of Zachary, La., died at 6:05 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011.
Mr. Walker was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 40, Alice Walker; daughter, Lanca (Maurice) Smith; stepdaughters, Ora Montgomery and Nora Walker; stepsons, Joel Watson and Alvin and Paul Mauldin; brothers, Paul Walker and Jimmy Broussard; sisters, Marie Bonin and Suzanne Barrett; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lance Sr. and Hazel Walker; and siblings, Linda Arnold and Edmond and Hazel Walker.
Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery in Centerville, La. (Ibert’s)
