Laris John Breaux, 76, a native of Marrero, La., and longtime resident of Belle Chasse, La., died Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, after a short illness.
Mr. Breaux was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and was retired after 28 years with the U.S. Postal Service.
He is survived by his sons, Laris Jr. (Cathy) and Michael (Melanie) Breaux; brother, Wilbert (Laura) Breaux; sisters, Anna Mae Bourgeois and Neva Boudoin; and three grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin and Olivia Breaux.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Chaisson Breaux; parents Alfred and Estelle Blanchard Breaux; and one sister, Angelina (Roy) Legendre.
He is interred at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery. (Mothe)
