Larry Perez Sr., 71, a native of Bogalusa, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, March 17, 2011.
Mr. Perez was the owner of Coastal Credit in Houma for more than 20 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and a loving person of God. He will be sadly missed by all.
He is survived by his sons, Larry Jr. “Paul” (Terri) and Michael Perez; daughter, Margaret “Peggy” (Michael) Day; seven grandchildren, James and Brady Perez, Gregory, Robyn and Samantha Day, and Kaylin and Gabriel Perez; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Llamas Perez; parents, Oliver and Laverne; and one brother, Robert Perez.
