Laura Agnes Ledet Ber, 90, a native of Montegut (Pointe-Aux-Chenes), La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, September 8, at 3:38.


She is survived by her sons, Carroll Anthony (Tony) Ber and wife Bonnie of Montgomery, Tx., and Henry Isidore Ber and wife Patricia of Chackbay, La.; daughter, Carrie Agnes Naquin; and daughter-in-law, Barbara B. Ber.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood R.J. Ber Sr., parents, Felicien and Clothilde Dupre Ledet; son, Elwood J. (Fonsie) Ber; brothers, Bagley, Willis, Wiley, Shelly, Norris, Effie and Alvin Ledet; sisters, Cecile L. Trosclair and Pearly L. Levron; and son-in-law, Michael Naquin.

She was a member of Catholic Daughters.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, September 19, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, September 20, at Falgout Funeral Home’s Chapel. The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis de Sales with burial at Magnolia Cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
