Downed economy, cold makes hard job tougher

January 15, 2010Laurenza Adams Duet, 92, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010 at 6:50 a.m.
She is survived by her son, Raleigh (Rose Marie) Duet; daughter, Barbara (Steve) Eymard; sisters, Eva Smith, Fredda Orgeron and Rosemary Pitre; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Duet; parents, Hennessey and Alcida Adams; and brothers, Fred, Jackson Sr. and John Adams.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, La.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, January 15, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Hebert Cemetery in Galliano
