Laury Joseph “Bulldog” Clement, 76, a native of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, March 6, 2014.
Mr. Clement graduated from Thibodaux High School where he played varsity football and was a member of the FFA. He was in the Louisiana Army National Guard for more than 20 years and proudly worked in the sugar cane and cattle industry as an overseer with J. B. Levert Land Company and manager of Zero Brahman Ranch. He was past president of the Louisiana Brahman Association and the Lafourche Cattlemen’s Association.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Margie Clement; daughters, Amanda Guidry, Donna Clement and Dayna Brown; siblings, Larry (Myra) and Gene Clement and Loretta (John) Niemietz; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Celia Clement; and son, Timothy. (Samart)
