Lawrence J. Blanchard, 86, a native of Assumption Parish, La., and longtime resident of Jefferson Parish, La., died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011.
He is survived by his children, Monica Mouchon, Kirk Blanchard and Roxanne (Michael) Beard; four grandchildren, John Mouchon Jr., Aimee (Alex) Parsons, Christopher (Clara) Blanchard and Julie (Augie) DiGiovanni; and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth DiGiovanni and Vivienne Parsons.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lorraine Marchand Blanchard; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Blanchard; and a grandson, Jason Dove.
He is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
