December 9, 2010Lawrence Joseph Chaisson, 89, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2010.
Mr. Chaisson was a retired carpenter and a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. He served in the Navy during World War II.
He was survived by his sons, Raymond, Kenneth (Leslie) and Roy (Molly) Chaisson; daughter, Elizabeth Marie Chaisson; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Jackson (Loretta) and Lester (Jenny) Chaisson; and sister, Theresa (Junior) Price.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Cecile Chaisson; son, Nelson Chaisson; parents, Nelson and Edna DuBois Chaisson; son-in-law, Dwight Daisy; brothers, Chester and Easton Chaisson; and sister, Eveola Cross.
He is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
