17-year-old arrested for shooting mother

Lawrence Felix Deroche, Sr., 82, a resident of Luling, LA. and a native of Killona, LA., died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006.
Visitation will be from 8 to 10 a.m. funeral time, in which mass will take place, Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville, LA. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Taft, LA.
He is survived by 4 sons, Lawrence, Jr., Gerald, Wayne, and Kenneth Deroche; 2 daughters, Carol Falcon and Wendy Matthijetz; 1 brother, Larry Deroche; 3 sisters, Grace Shifflet, Clara Dubler, and Thelma Michot; many nieces and nephews, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 5 great- great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Grace Simoneaux Deroche; his parents, Waldo and Elvire Madere Deroche; one brother, Joseph Deroche, and 3 sisters, Aline Hebert, Ethel Zimmerman, and Hazel Dufrene.
In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
Falgout Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
