Raising homes reaches above the threat
April 26, 2011Lawrence “Humpy” Flakes, 65, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, April 11, 2011.
He is survived by his sisters, Luella (Rev. Clifton) Rhodes, Martha Flakes, Mercedes Winston and Mary (Ernest) Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jules and Elizabeth Flakes; two sisters, Eula Pearl Reado and Dorothy Davis; and three brothers, Raymond, Jules Jr. and Eddie Flakes.
He is buried at Moses Baptist Church Cemetery. (Williams and Southall)
