Lawrence “Cashier” Jones, 47, a native of Labadieville, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010.
He is survived by his mother, Edna Mae Jones; son, Lawrence Sir Anthony Marts; sisters, Cynthia Jones, Rose Tyler, Eva (Oliver) Nana and Catina Jones; brothers, Minister Lloyd (Michelle) and Floyd Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Lawrence Jones Sr.; one niece, Chelsea Lynn Jones; one nephew, Clearance Jones; one aunt, Grace Williams; and his grandparents, Clearence and Edna Miller, Walter Jones and Theresa Sanders.
He is buried at Halfway Cemetery.
