Lawrence Joseph Lovell Sr., 88, a native of Dularge and resident of Houma, died on Thursday, December 21, 2017.
Mr. Lovell is survived by his son, Lawrence Lovell Jr. and wife Ann; daughters, Elta Duet and husband Mike, Bessie Solet and husband Easton Solet Sr., Sarah Naquin and husband Mike, and Caroline Portier and husband Troy; daughter-in-law, Jeanie Lovell; sister, Florence Raines; 21 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren and 1 great stepson.
He loved to make homemade cane syrup and also enjoyed dancing with his family and friends. He loved to garden and watch his reruns of “Lets Make A Deal” and “Sanford & Son”. He loved his little dog, Sweetie. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and will never be forgotten.
