Le Van Nguyen, 82, a native of Thanh Hoa, Vietnam and resident of Amelia, La., died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012.
Mr. Nguyen was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a commercial fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Guong Thi Pham; children, Thanh, Tri Thi (Khiem), Tri Thi (Dung Le), Trung, Tam, Hieu (Long Le), KimThao, Thai (Linda), Thanh-Lan, Long and Phuong Nguyen; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thuyen and Dung Thi Nguyen.
Burial was at St. Andrews Cemetery in Amelia. (Hargrave)
