Lee Joseph Pellegrin Sr., 82, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010.


Mr. Pellegrin was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church and he was a Eucharistic Minister. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and camping. He made numerous crafts and woodworking projects. He loved cajun music and dancing.


He is survived by his son, Lee Pellegrin Jr.; daughter, Nancy (Glen) Sanders; three grandchildren, Adam (Kristen Vuellemont) Sanders, Ryan Sanders and Heidi Woodall; one great-grandchild, Ella Sanders; brother, Julius Pellegrin; and sisters, Rita Clement, Anna Mae LeBlanc and Nela Foret.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lizzie Mae Lirette Pellegrin; parents, Johnnie and Margurite Dubois Pellegrin; brothers, Eddie and Andy Pellegrin; and sisters, Clothile Boudloche, Marie Thibodaux, Ada Pellegrin, Josephine Pellegrin, Eva Trahan and Enez Foret.
