Local lawmakers’ pre-filings a mixed bag
March 25, 2010Lena Marie Billiot Mobley, 60, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Friday, March 19, 2010.
She is survived by her husband, John Mobley Sr.; stepmother, Gustassa “Chock” Lee Verdin; sons, John Jr. (Stella), Albert and Victor Mobley; three grandchildren, Aaron, Ethan and Aiyana Mobley; brothers, George (Paula) and Emile (Kristie) Billiot; sister, Mary Billiot; stepbrothers, Francis Jr., Julius, Ludvic (Lisa), Daniel (Angela), Wayne (Christine) and Richard (Angelina) Lee, and Charles Verdin; stepsisters, Geraldine (Calvin) Chamberlin, Ruby Lee, Rose Adams, Joann (Ricky) Allemand and Cecile (Clark) LeBeouf and a host of other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Valerina Billiot; stepfather, Francis “Frank” Lee, one grandson, Mochael Mobley and brothers, Herman Billiot and Joseph Serigny.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Monday, March 22, at Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano and from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, March 23, at Falgout Funeral Home. A service will follow at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Golden Meadow.
She will be buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
