Lenore “Eleanor” J. Atchley, 72, a native of Cut Off, La., and resident of Amelia, La., died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.
She is survived by her husband of nine years, James Atchley; sons, Phillip (Tina) and Jamie (Erica) Jelks; daughter, Paula (Lloyd) Lovergne; three stepchildren, brother, Philocles Nacio; sisters, Joan DeShazo and Amy Billiot; 16 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jelks; parents, Baptiste and Feda Nacio; son, Elroy Jelks; daughters, Janice Cressionie and JoAnn Kern; brothers, John, Norman and Anthony Nacio; sisters, Antionette Carnes and Marie Boudreaux; and two step-grandchildren.
Burial is at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Larose, La. (Samart-Mothe)
