Family Fun Fest has something for all ages

Leonard Hunt Ray, 97, a native of Amite and resident of Houma, died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2007.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by two sons, Kenison Price Ray of Houma and Leonard Lagarde Ray and wife, Janet Brown Ray, of Grand Isle; one daughter, Lelia Marie Ray of Houma; two grandchildren, Jeanette Ray Sabharwal and Leonard Paul Ray; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Garnet Rose Price Ray; his parents, Maximillian Kennison Ray and Daisy Daspit Ray; one brother, Hartley O. Ray; and three sisters, Mercedes Ray Pertuit, Evelyn Ray LeBlanc and Sylvia Ray Johnson.
He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
