Leoncia “Canoe” Theriot Bourg, 82, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La. died Sunday, October 28, 2007, at 2:20 a.m.
She is survived by her son, Henry Bourg and his wife Alice; two brothers, Leonce “Ganoe” Theriot and his wife Gloria and Norman Theriot and his wife Anna; one son-in-law, Charles Rosenberger; five grandchildren, Kenny Rosenberger and his wife Gabi, John Rosenberger and his wife Paula, Annie Bourg, Collins Bourg and his wife Christy, and Henri Bourg and his wife Jessica; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnaciene “Chug” Bourg; her parents, Henry and Lames Collins Bourg; one daughter, Donita “DeDa” Rosenberger; and one brother, Hubert Theriot.
Leoncia was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow.
Visitation is Wednesday, October 31, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
