Leontine “Tine” Wald, 65, a native and resident of Kraemer, La., died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012.
Mrs. Wald enjoyed playing bingo and cards and watching soap operas on TV. She loved spending quality time with her family; especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Richard Wald Jr.; daughter, Shannon (Larry) Heriard; sisters, Mary Simoneaux and Bonnie Thibodaux; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wald Sr.; parents, Leon and Camelia Cortez; and brothers, Leon Jr. and Donald Cortez.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, and 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church in Kraemer with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
