Leroy Joseph Ledet, 75, a native of Galliano, La., and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Louverda Ledet; sons, Stony (Rosanne) and Roddy (Sandra) Ledet; stepsons, Norvel Jr. (Cissy), Lorris (Patsy) and Harold (Terry) Jackson; daughters, Margo (Mike) Oholandt and Lorie (James) Pierce; stepdaughters, Lou (Allen) Estay, Cheryl Simms, Linda Jackson and Stella (John) Mobley; sister, Marion (Gary) Cooper; 10 grandchildren; 19 step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Clarice Ledet; stepson, Allen Jackson; daughter, Trudy Loupe; sister, Gloria Ledet; and step-grandson, Michael Mobley.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano with services to follow. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. (Falgout)
