Leslie Ann Marie Hebert, 37, a native of Choctaw, La., and a resident of Marrero, La., died Monday, April 21, at 4:07 a.m.


She is survived by her parents, Lester and Thelma Hebert; and her godchild, Cassie Pitre.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tenney and Adeline Hebert and Elie and Florence Hebert.


She attended the Visitation of Our Lady Catholic School, Immaculata Catholic High School, Nicholls State University and Jefferson Vo-Tech Nursing school, where she earned a degree as an LPN. She received the 1982 volunteer of America Award and the 1986 St. Louis Marillac Award. She worked as an LPN at Children’s Hospital.

Pallbearers will be Stanley Hebert, Joseph Harry Delatte, Craig Delatte, James Tabor, Darren Pitre and Donovan Pitre.

Visitation will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 24, at Thibodaux Funeral Home with mass to follow Thursday at St. James Chapel in Choctaw. She will be buried at St. James Chapel Cemetery.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
