Up Close: Ellender basketball coach shares secrets of success

Lillian “Yan” G. Breaux, 80, a native of Supreme, La. and resident of Thibodaux, La. died Monday, December 3, 2007.
She is survived by one son, Davis “NuNu” Breaux and his wife Darlene; two daughters, Carolyn B. Eschete and her husband Henry and Melissa B. Guillot and her husband Nelson; three sisters, Lilly Mae Bailey, Ella Mae Gros, and Irene Acosta; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Breaux; her parents, Claiborne and Carrie Borne Gros; one son, Roger J. Breaux; one sister, Vivian Gros; and two brothers, Edward “Man” Gros and Clarence Gros.
Lillian was a retired custodian at Labadieville Primary School.
She is buried in St. Philomena Catholic Church Cemetery in Labadieville.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
