Behind basin restoration, Maloz leads
October 24, 2011Lillian LaRose Marmillion, 94, a native of Convent, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Oct. 17, 2011,
Mrs. Marmillion was a devout Catholic and a founding parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. “Miss Lil’s” foremost devotion was to her family.
She is survived by her children, Mary Rampton, Kathy Trahan and Norman Jr. (Sand), Valsin and Stephen (Colleen) Marmillion; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Marmillion Sr.; parents, Anatole LaRose and Albertine Robichaux; and siblings, Emmet, Cleveland, Thelma (Pitre) and Ethel (Vitter).
Burial was at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No.2. (Chauvin)
