Toll revenue not enough to make bond payments

Lillian Payne Thomas, 89, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Montegut, La., died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011.
Mrs. Thomas was Baptist and a member of St. Peter Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Ernest and Brent Thomas; daughters, Mable Ann and Betty Williams; brothers, Edward Payne; 25 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Williard Thomas; parents, Louvenia & Benjamin Payne; sons, Williard, Nelson, Earl and Leonard Thomas; daughter, Louvenia Thomas; brothers, Nelson, Leonard and Allen Payne; and sisters, Elsie Castle and Helena Simmons.
She is buried at Southdown Cemetery. (Community)
