Lillie Mae King Shelley, 94, was a native of Hamburg, Ark., and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011.
Mrs. Shelley was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was an Avon saleswoman for 25 years.
She is survived by her son, Billy (Thelma) Shelley; daughter, Jan Shelley; four grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doil Shelley; parents, Joe King and Martha Anders; stepmother, Annie Tubbs; siblings, Alan, Hoyt, Evie, JT, Madeline and Bennie King; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. (Chauvin)
