Linda Gail Ford, 54, a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, May 19.


She is survived by her husband, Wayne W. Ford; two daughters, Mandy Smith of Jonesville, and Shelley Fowler of Thibodaux; parents, Charles Elmo Ford and Mary Edith Ford of Jena; two brothers, Buster Ford of Jena and Ronald Ford of Jonesville; five grandchildren, Dylan, Bryant, Zach, Alyssa, and Brianna; and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 22, at Oak Grove Free Methodist Church with Bro. Doyle Stockman and Bro. David Poole officiating with religious services to follow. Burial will be at the Aimwell Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Evan Ford, Steven Ford, Gary Neal, Lionel Posey, Tim Neal, and Michael Neal.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dewey Wayne Stockman, Ronald Cockerham, and Alvie Lee Posey.

Friends were able to visit the Ford family Thursday at the Oak Grove Free Methodist Church in Harrisonburg.

Hixson Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
