Linda Lee Chaisson Duck, 69, a resident of Stephensville, La., died Wednesday, July 10, 2013.
Mrs. Duck was a strong-willed lady who loved life and did her best to live it to the fullest. Mardi Gras was her favorite time of the year and she loved to roll with the ladies of Cleopatra. She loved to travel and enjoyed fishing.
She is survived by her husband, William Duck; sons, William III and Kermit (Stephanie) Duck; sister, Shirley Chaisson; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirby and Odeal Chaisson; and brothers, Nolan, Herman, Kermit and Daniel.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 12, and 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at Hargrave Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
