July 13, 2011Linda M. Steele, 65, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, July 9, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Justillian (Christy) Hyde and James (Robin) Miller; brothers, Michael (Denise) and Terry Pitre; sisters, Mathilda Bertinot and Brenda Pitre; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lena and Justillian Pitre; brothers, Harry, Edgar, Billy, Eugene, Roland and Peter Pitre; and sisters, Betty Porter, Gayle Dardar and Mary Pitre.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 14 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with religious services to follow. (Samart)
