Lionel Joseph Breaux, 79, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, July 9.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel Ann Fayette Breaux; one son, Blaine J. Breaux of Scott, La.; one brother, Calvin Breaux and wife, Doris; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo J. and Bridget Guillot Breaux; one brother, Leroy Breaux; and one great-grandchild, Layla Breaux.
He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Woodman of the World and Sportsman League Louisiana.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with mass to follow. He will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
