Lloyd “T-Lloyd” Joseph Lapeyrouse, 69, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Friday, June 26, at 11:02 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Heddy Authement Lapeyrouse; daughters, Lamar Pellegrin, Marisa Trahan and husband Timothy, Holly Rousseau and husband Jamie, Madge Gautreaux and husband Michael, and Mallory Lapeyrouse; sons, Leslie Lapeyrouse and wife Mary, and Lloyd Lapeyrouse and wife Monique; sisters, Viona Chabert, Una Arcement and husband Ronald, and Ouida Lirette and husband Ludger; brother, Tillman Lapeyrouse and wife Cindy; sister-in-law, Sharon Bergeron and husband Ronald; brothers-in-law, Quentin Authement and Brian Authement and Morgan Neil; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven nieces; and eight nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abbey J. and Florence Robichaux Lapeyrouse; mother and father-in-law, Annassee and Velma Pellegrin Authement; brother-in-law, Leonard J. Chabert Sr.; and sister-in-law, Norma Jean Neil.
He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was retired from Hill City Oil. His passion was growing and sharing the vegetables from his garden.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
