Lois Pertuit

Lois Dupré Pertuit, 88, a native of Bayou Blue, La., and resident of Marrero, La., died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at West Jefferson Medical Center.

She is survived by sons, Wayne Sr. (Sherry) and Allen (Debra) Pertuit; daughters, Carolyn “Lou” (Merlin Sr.) Vegas, Laura Pertuit and Linda Autin; daughter-in-law, Vernice Pertuit; brother, Eugene Dupré; sisters, Miriam Degruise, Zoe Hebert and Evelyn Zeringue; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.

She is buried at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Cemetery in Raceland.
