Lois Detillier Rodrigue, 78, a native of Mathews, La., and resident of Chackbay, La., died Monday, Dec. 6, 2010.
Mrs. Rodrigue loved to dance. She was a member of Ladies Altar Society at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay.
She is survived by her husband, Adam Paul Rodrigue; sons, Mark (Debbie) Rodrigue, Glen “Pecon” (Lori) Rodrigue and Jamie (Jennifer) Rodrigue; daughters, Debra (Glenn) Torres and Kathleen (Dwayne) Chiasson; sisters, Lorita (Albert Jr.) Loupe, Juanita Detillier and Deanie (Gene Jr.) Rodrigue; brother, Gerald (Gladys) Detillier; eight grandchildren, Nicholas Rodrigue, Ulyssia R. Antie, Laci R. Dantin, Whitney Gros, Andrew Chiasson, Colin Torres, Emeline Rodrigue and Benjamin Rodrigue; and seven great-grandchildren, Emma Antie, Reese Antie, Beaux Rodrigue, Ashlyn Rodrigue, Orry Rodrigue, Taylor Antie and Jonathan Harvey Antie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lovelace and Beulah Folse Detillier; and one brother, Milton Detillier.
A special thanks to St. Catherine Hospice, especially Lois Joseph, Torrenicia Joseph, Dr. Donepudi, Dr. Bailey and Frannie Waguespack.
She is buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
