Lorena Marie Lapeyrouse, 68, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Tuesday, June 09, at 8:54 a.m.
She is survived by her brother, Ural and wife Mona Lapeyrouse; niece, Jill Lapeyrouse; nephews, Jamie and wife Annette Lapeyrouse, and Jeff and wife Jessica Lapeyrouse; grand-niece, Kalyn Lapeyrouse; grand-nephews, Brett Lapeyrouse and Janson Lapeyrouse; and Godmother, Viley Picou.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Levis Lapeyrouse and Hilda Pellegrin Lapeyrouse; brother, Aaron Lapeyrouse who died at birth; grandparents, Narcisse and Genevieve Authement Pellegrin, and Arthur and Agnes Cunningham Lapeyrouse; stepmother, Modeste Cunningham Lapeyrouse; and grand-nephew, Lane Lapeyrouse who died as an infant.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin She was a retired legal secretary and a notary public
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday June 11, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
