Lorida A. Rogers, 87, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 10:58 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012.
Mrs. Rogers was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Golden Meadow and a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Olivia (Roy) Guidry and Karen Rogers; brother, Roy Anselmi; sisters, Austreda Collins, Clauodet Duet and Verda Guidroz; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Early Rogers; parents, Alexson and Angelina Anselmi; brothers, Fedless Anselmi and Gilbert Auseve; and sisters, Leona Guidry and Leoda Williams.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
