Louis Joseph Price Jr., 72, a native of Houma, La., and a resident Bourg, La., died Thursday, December 25, at 7:15 a.m.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce Jabert Price; sons, Audie J. Price Sr. of Bush and Byron Price and wife Donna of Houma; daughters, Gayle Price Prince and husband Doyle of Houma, Beryl Picou Marrello of Florence, Ms., Cheryl Price LeBouef and husband Perry of Thibodaux, La., and Stacie Price Naquin and husband Darrell of Montegut, La., sister, Carole Price LeBouef and husband Joseph of Chauvin, La., sister-in-law, Rena LeBouef Price; granddaughter, Samiko Price Nolan and husband Thomas of Houma; 22 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Price Sr. and Beulah Naquin Price of Montegut; sister, Sylvia LeBoeuef of Montegut; and brother, Allen Price Sr. of Montegut.
He was a retired carpenter and coastal rescue unit. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and spending time with family.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, December 29, at Chauvin Funeral Home, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg, La. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ann Catholic Church with burial at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
