Louis “Kool Aid” Williams Sr., 81, a native and resident of Houma, LA., died Wednesday, January 17, 2007.


Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2007 and from 9 to 11 a.m. funeral time, in which a religious service will take place, Saturday at Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church in Dularge. The Burial will be in the Halfway Cemetery in Gray, LA.


He is survived by five daughters, Sarah Williams, Stacey Williams, Judy Williams, Juliette Williams and Nadein Williams all of Houma; three sons, Louis Williams Jr., and Marcus Williams of Houma and Michael Williams and wife Betty of Raceland, LA., and one sister, Sarah Coleman of Houma. He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Williams; parents, Calvin and Mary Salisbury Williams; one sister, Ollie Hawkins; and five brothers, Alvin, Calvin, Jessie, Earl and Willie Williams.

He was a member of Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, watching baseball, football, and wresting on T.V., and dancing with and listening to music.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland will be in charge of the arrangements.
