Louis Pierre Bourgeois, 97, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Bourgeois; son, Ron Bourgeois; daughters, Barbara Oliver and Joanne Morvant; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Bourgeois and Louisiane Breaux; brothers, Lucien, Sam, Camille and Raymond Bourgeois; and sisters, Odile Naquin, Lilia Samanie and Virginia Legendre.
Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Thibodaux)
