Louis Simoneaux, Sr.

Louis J. Simoneaux, Sr., 87, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Sunday, August 26, 2007, at 1:00 a.m.

He is survived by his wife, Cecile Landry Simoneaux; two sons, Louis J. Simoneaux, Sr. and his fiancé’ and Paul J. Simoneaux and his significant other Thomas Holmes; two brothers, Jerry Simoneaux and Whitney Simoneaux; two sisters, Cathern S. Landry and Molly S. Darbonne; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Whitney Simoneaux and Mae B. Simoneaux; his in-laws, Albert J. and Anise B. Landry and sons; two brothers, Alvin Simoneaux and Donald Simoneaux; and his loving companion, Nicky.

Louis was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Anne Catholic Church. He was a loving husband of 58 years to his wife Cecile.

Visitation is Tuesday, August 28, 2007, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville. He will be buried in the church cemetery.

Landry’s Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of the arrangements.
