Louise “Lou” St. Germain Baldwin, 94, a native of Plattenville, La., and resident of Napoleonville, La., died at 11:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011.

Mrs. Baldwin was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Immaculate Conception Ladies Altar Society, the Third Order of Mary and Raceland Memorial Auxiliary Unit 349.


She is survived by her children, Clyde (Beverly), Robert (Barbara), Warren (Nanette), Mark, Bryan (Wendy) and Carl (Brenda) Baldwin,


Cheryl (Howard) Hebert, Karen (Larry) Arboneaux, Alma (Chris) Landry and Germaine (Bill) Hill; sister, Alverta Hernandez; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Baldwin; son, Frederick Baldwin; two grandchildren; parents, Joseph and Enola St. Germain; brothers, Lynn, Louis, John, Maurice and Raymond St. Germain; and sisters, Ouida LeBlanc and Therese Falterman.

Interment was at St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery in Napoleonville.
