Catholic Charities: Oil leak syndrome expected to hit home

Lovinia T. Chiasson, 84, a native and resident of Chackbay, La., died Monday, June 21, 2010.
Mrs. Chiasson was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church, past member of the Ladies Altar Society and loved praying the rosary. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her sons, Hilton Jr. (Daisy) and Ronald (Judy) Chiasson; daughter, Patty (Wallace) Duet; sister, Rerna T. Weber; six grandchildren, Leslie Morvant, Angela C. Cortez and Lance, Chad, Hilton III and Keith Chiasson and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton J. Chiasson Sr.; one son, Kevin J. Chiasson; her parents, John and Armance “Nu Nun” Clement Trosclair; and two brothers, Willis “Poto” and Junius “Buck” Trosclair.
She is buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church Cemetery.
